A pilgrimage is an ancient practice of traveling long distances in order to give offerings to the Gods as an expression of gratitude. You do not need to be religious to go on Pilgrimage. You merely need to believe in something bigger than yourself and have the desire to take a moment out of your ordinary life to say "thank you".
